New Killzone Screens Unleashed
These latest screenshots show that the game has a significant chance of being utterly awesome. Look inside.
Sony's Killzone, possibly the most hyped pre-unveiling firstparty game ever next to Mario 128, is now fully out of the bag and hurtling down the PR path to achieve massive sales when it's released next year.
Developed by Amsterdam-based Guerrilla, formerly Lost Boys, Killzone is set in the near future, in a period of planetary colonisation and revolves around a savage conflict between forces that are still loyal to Earth and a militaristic faction called the Helghast.
The game follows a squad of four soldiers on a suicidal mission behind enemy lines, as they fight to undermine and defeat the Helghast forces following their devastating Blitzkrieg attack on the human colony.
