Driver 3: Stunning New Video Revealed
Take a look at this stunning hi-res, direct feed video footage from Atari's Driver 3 - it's looking hot.
Driver 3 was revealed a couple of months back at ECTS, and was easily Atari's most talked-about game of the show. Unfortunately the video clip shown was very short at just 45 seconds, and worse, it consisted mostly of rendered CGI sequences.
However, we've tracked down this direct feed video that comes in at 1m.37s and shows off the graphics engine for what it's really worth - which is quite a lot, as you'll see.
Looking at this footage, the car models and reflective-type effects compete with GT4 in terms of execution quality, while the texture detail and damage sequences are looking pretty remarkable on PS2 as well.
With some rendered bits thrown in for good measure, this is a download not to miss. Stay tuned for more on Driver 3.
