Lustrous New Design for PlayStation 2
Sony finally confirms the silver PS2 leaked in the beginning of the year.
The first image of the silver slimline PlayStation 2 hit the Internet earlier this year when high street retailer Argos listed the new colour on its Web site.
Sony refused to acknowledge the leak then, choosing instead to wait until now to officially unveil the refreshed design for the Satin Silver version of its living-room-dominating console, which hits stores on 13 May.
The outside may by different, but nothing's changed on the inside. For £115 - £10 more than the current model - you'll get the recoloured PlayStation 2 and Dual Shock controller and a black DVD controller.
Sony will also be rolling out matching silver accessories - for those who just have to colour co-ordinate.
