All About the Games?
So says Reggie, but let's look at the launch line-up in its own right - what are the stars besides Zelda, and the unsung heroes?
"God of War did an excellent job of streaming load times during gameplay, something a major next-gen Wii title should be capable of."

An example of Twilight Princess on Wii not living up to its potential is the Z-target conversation system. Why, when I have a Wii Remote-controlled cursor on the screen at all times, do I have to turn and Z-target to have a conversation with someone? The pointer should do that. Nintendo has a history of staying ahead of the competition and releasing extremely polished games, so I'm a little frustrated by these pesky annoyances. They had multiple years to make Twilight Princess the next great step forward, even on the GameCube. But it didn't happen. Instead we got a lot more of the same great game, which is not a bad thing. It's just not a step forward. Rayman: Raving Rabbids, while extremely fun, was not released with a progressive scan mode. That is unforgivable for a next-generation title, especially one that looks as good (and is as much fun) as this. For visuals alone I wouldn't have made this complaint, but the dreaded game lag HDTV issue is unavoidable thanks to Rayman's silly lack of a standard graphics mode.
"There are some games in production that are definitely not 'mainstream' such as No More Heroes, which is by the same guys as Killer 7 "

Marwan: I'm quite pleased with the launch titles for the Wii. When a console launches there usually isn't really much to choose from. The Wii had about twenty, including a must-have title. Most games might not be great, but there are a small handful which have made this launch stand out, such as Rayman and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz.
Sharan: Zelda was the only thing that really appealed to me on launch, which is curious, considering the game itself wasn't a platform exclusive, being on the GameCube as well. Wii Sports is most fun in multiplayer, but not so much when going at it solo. Tennis is by far the best game as it really gives a feel of the real game. The remote sound effects really add to the experience.
