A nice extra touch comes in the form of the army editor, where seasoned tabletoppers will be able to carry on their hobby of painting their armies to whatever specification they see fit. This feature is a very nice touch and is something sure to prove popular for online battles, as combatants won't have to settle for the same old same old, and can inject some real individualism into the game. Unless they're talentless and unimaginative like me, of course.
"Despite a near-300MB patch fix, multiplayer is where the game shines."

Also of note it has to be said that the intro is one of the best of recent times, and I personally did not think that I could be impressed by pre-rendered video any more. It's absolutely fantastic-looking and suitably epic. If you aren't going to get the game, at least watch the intro.
Overall, Mark of Chaos is a decent effort. It's a fun game that will no doubt please fans of the Warhammer series as they see their tabletop hobby translate very nicely on to the PC. Unfortunately the game itself doesn't stand up to the might of the Total War games, and though it offers a rich and interesting environment very different, the game itself unfortunately falls short.
