Team Ninja's latest outing, Dead or Alive: Xtreme 2 is the sequel to 2003's Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball, dropping the "Beach Volleyball" from its title as it now also has jetski racing as a competitive sport.
"A graphical breast fest extravaganza... and a game of simple values."

Taking a two week vacation on Zack's newly resurrected island, the DOA4 girls are all here, albeit because Zack has told them all a different fib to get them there. Deciding to make the most of it, your vacation is to be spent playing various beach, pool and casino games in an attempt to win money to buy ever skimpier swimsuits for you character.
The girls and backgrounds all look great, the only drawback to the girls (as in DOA4) is their hair clipping through shoulders and looking decidedly ribbon-y when it's let free. In motion the animation concentrates largely on the specially designed boobs, which have their own physics system that allows each boob to jiggle independently of the other. This is a game of simple values.
Pick a partner at the start of the game and you can play the beach volleyball against opposing teams. Take a note of her favourite colour, send her gifts wrapped in the appropriate colour, and she'll start to like you more. Win games of volleyball with her and she'll like you more. Keep this up and you can enjoy homo-erotic "friendship" scenes of the two girls playing at the various fantasy beaches of this beautiful tropical island.
Be warned however; the girls are very fickle. Should you lose all your matches in a day, you can well find wake up the next morning to find your partner has legged it and you have been abandoned without a word. If this happens you will want to try your best to impress one of the other girls on the island enough to become your new partner.
