The island itself is a series of pictures you have to flick through to pick your destination, and your opponents at the poker table are icons of your opponents face, instead of their top-heavy jiggling person. Inexplicably, there is no local 2 player mode, something which would have added an extra point on to the score for the jetski race alone. A slight bonus is that you can play against people online.
Had as much time been spent on the presentation and games as was spent on having massive breasts that will bounce in a bikini top independently of their partner, DOAX2 could have been a good, if still relatively simple, game. For me, playing the same game repeatedly trying to get enough money to collect every bikini is not an option. As for the achievements, which are based on getting the whole collection and making friends, I simply couldn't bring myself to care.
Truly, DOAX2 is a game for 14 year old boys and 40 year old virgins. Younger gamers may have enjoyed the simplicity of the games, however thanks to Team Ninja's effort to make the girls appear as bisexuals interested in frolicking with each other it has been given a 16 rating, ruling out what could have been a bigger fan base.
Anyone who plays this expecting to find a fun game will want to spend a little time messing around on each mini game the island, and perhaps double that on the jetski racing before realising they've been had. One for rental only.
